About the Role:
Soliant Education is in search of a dedicated and skilled Exceptional Needs Educator for a full-time role. This position is perfect for an experienced professional who is passionate about assisting students with varied learning requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a certification in Special Education and a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design: Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. Ensure that the curriculum adheres to state and national standards while addressing specific learning objectives and accommodations.
- Classroom Environment: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and achievement. Implement effective behavior management techniques and provide support to students in a structured and nurturing environment.
- Student Assistance: Deliver personalized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Modify teaching strategies and materials to cater to various learning styles and promote each student's academic growth.
- IEP Monitoring: Track and evaluate students' progress concerning their IEP goals. Collaborate with parents, school personnel, and other professionals to ensure educational objectives and accommodations are met effectively.

Qualifications:
