Starting Pay Rate: $20/hour

The Memory Care Caregiver plays a vital role in our mission by assisting residents with their personal care needs, including dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility, all aimed at promoting independence in accordance with individual service plans and established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist or oversee residents with personal care to foster the highest level of independence.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions to the supervisor or Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for individual service plans, medication records, and activity logs.
- Supervise or administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment through daily housekeeping tasks, including sorting laundry.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Plan and facilitate leisure activities as outlined in individualized service plans.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) certification is preferred but can be provided.
- Fire safety training is preferred but can be provided.
- CNA certification is preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or within 2 years of initial CBRF First Aid & Choking certification class.
- Must be able to become med delegated upon hire and administer medications.
- Experience in a resident care role is preferred.
- Able to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.
