Job Description

At Micross Components, we are seeking a skilled Wire Bond Technician to join our team. As a Wire Bond Technician, you will be responsible for attaching dies to packages, setting up and programming wire bond machines, and wire bonding dies to packages according to build prints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from specifications, method sheets, diagrams, sketches, build prints, and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Verify production work order forms, build prints, and materials to be used to prevent errors and delays.
  • Set up software on bonding machines and cure epoxy to ensure proper bonding.
  • Attach dies to packages per build print and perform bond pull destruct tests to ensure strength and reliability.
  • Inspect packages for compliance with requirements and perform rework as needed.
  • Maintain written and practical wire bond certifications to stay up-to-date with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Wire Bonder or similar role in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of wire bonding techniques and equipment.
  • 1-5 years of experience operating automated and manual equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and stand for 8-10 hours while using tools to perform repetitive actions.
