Job Title: Registered Behavior Therapist

We are seeking experienced Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in a home or community setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and enter it into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) daily.
  • Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA, other RBT team members, clinical directors, and families to support the clients' needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or college degree required.
  • RBT certification is required within 60 days of working with your first client.
  • One year experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
  • Dependability, consistency, and reliability are crucial for the individual's success.
  • Knowledge of Autism and related behavioral interventions preferred.
  • Integrity, positivity, patience, and excellent written and verbal communication in English are essential.
  • Willingness to have a background check completed and a reliable car and driver's license for commuting to the home of clients.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time while working with clients.
  • Able to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of clients.
  • Able and willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
