Diamond Materials is a leading Heavy Highway & Civil Construction Company seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by accurately assessing costs and preparing estimates.

Duties:

  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Develop estimates in a timely fashion to deliver cost-effective pricing to clients.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
  • Review contracts for accuracy and budget limitations.
  • Create accurate change orders for job modifications.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors in the project area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to costs and pricing.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
