Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimal output and yield, meeting or exceeding departmental goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple responsibilities, including line operator duties, to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding production orders, quality concerns, and changes to production schedules.
  • Perform quality inspections and ensure formulations are produced and labeled correctly.
  • Operate ICT and RDI units at the appropriate MA settings and troubleshoot the line to resolve issues.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure the operation of various quality defects.
  • Perform all SQF activities and react to alarms and signals with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure the safety of department personnel and work alongside other departments to ensure accuracy and product deliverance.
  • Assist with maintenance repairs and report non-functioning equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of experience with Windows applications.
  • Ability to use various quality equipment tools, such as microscopes, micro-meters, and tape measures.
  • Radiation certification preferred.
