This is a second shift position responsible for operating press brake and hardware insertion equipment, as well as performing tasks on milling machines, secondary equipment, and grinders.

Work Schedule: Second shift: 2:30 pm - 1 am, Monday through Thursday.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to metal fabrication, including inspecting production parts for defects, verifying conformance to specifications, and reading blueprints. They will also be required to operate machinery safely and efficiently, perform routine maintenance checks, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate press brake and hardware insertion equipment, as well as other machinery as required.
  • Inspect production parts for defects and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in machine operation, and strong mechanical skills. They should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
