The selected candidate will be instrumental in land surveying initiatives, ensuring precision and dependability in the gathering and evaluation of spatial information. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional surveying services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Survey Execution: Conduct field surveys utilizing advanced surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS devices, and laser scanning technology.
  • Boundary Analysis: Review legal documents, deeds, and maps to determine and confirm property boundaries.
  • Data Management: Gather, process, and interpret spatial data to create precise survey maps, plats, and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality control protocols to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Remain informed about applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance in all surveying operations.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work alongside other professionals, including engineers, architects, and GIS experts, to incorporate survey data into comprehensive project plans.
  • Equipment Oversight: Manage the upkeep and calibration of surveying tools to ensure precise measurements.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records, field notes, and reports related to surveying tasks.
  • Client Communication: Effectively engage with clients to ascertain project specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a capacity to lead and develop teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of surveying experience.
  • Possession of a Professional Surveyor license or the ability to obtain one in a timely manner.
  • Positive work ethic with the ability to work safely and efficiently while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a commitment to adhering to work schedules.
