About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Kleinfelder. As a key member of our geospatial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of spatial data collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners.
  • Analyze legal documents, deeds, and maps to establish and verify property boundaries.
  • Collect, process, and analyze spatial data to produce accurate survey maps, plats, and reports.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance in all surveying activities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including engineers, architects, and GIS specialists, to integrate survey data into broader project plans.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment to guarantee accurate measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, field notes, and reports related to surveying activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, and grow, teams.
  • 5+ Years survey experience.
  • Must have your PS or ability obtain your PS within a reasonable time.
  • Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized, and have a keen sense of detail.
