We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages and population groups.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with nursing and medical staff to ensure appropriate prescribing, route, method of administration, and length of therapy.
- Monitor patients for age-appropriate response to drug therapy and adverse events from drug therapy.
- Perform computer order entry of medication orders and maintain patient medication profiles.
- Conduct therapy monitoring and other activities associated with the provision of pharmaceutical care.
- Provide guidance to technical staff on pharmacy services and supervise technical support personnel in drug preparation and distribution systems.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy hospital experience preferred.
- Current Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or licensed pharmacist in another state with Authorization to Test (ATT) from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
