  • Leadership and Oversight:

  • Repairs and Maintenance:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
    • Procure and replenish supplies as necessary, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices.
  • Emergency Maintenance Response:
    • React swiftly to maintenance emergencies, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
    • Be available for on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Keep precise records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment evaluations.
    • Compile and present reports on maintenance challenges, completed tasks, and significant incidents to the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in property maintenance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general property maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Capacity to perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
