SYNC Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our service team at our beautiful Class-A mid-rise community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of multi-family maintenance experience and a strong background in supervising maintenance staff and operations. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance for the entire multi-family property. You will also supervise the maintenance staff and day-to-day maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Anticipate, identify, and correct any and all problems involving the property to maintain a safe environment, cultivate resident satisfaction, and protect the investment of the apartment property owner.
  • Monitor completion of make-ready units and update written make-ready status boards as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct major air conditioning failures, including low freon, bad compressors, and fan motors. Ensure filters are replaced in a timely manner and replace complete systems as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct major heating failures and major appliance failures. Complete preventative maintenance as necessary.
  • Complete major electrical repairs and/or supervise outside contractors. May work with high voltage.
  • Complete major plumbing repairs, including replacement of major components or sewer line stoppage diagnosis.
  • Complete major carpentry, glass, and sheet rock repairs, including removing and replacing doorframes, patching holes in sheet rock, applying texture, repairing subfloors, and repairing cabinets.
  • Monitor and record daily pool care, ensuring the pool is in proper chemical balance and the area is free of safety violations. Must be a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
  • Complete major repairs and/or supervise outside contractors. Must be willing and able to inspect all areas of the property for determination of problems and/or verify work performed by outside contractors.
  • Keep an adequate or thirty-day inventory of needed supplies and complete monthly and quarterly reporting as required. Maintain both personal and property tool inventories in good and complete condition. Maintain the shop in neat, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Weekend work and on-call emergency maintenance response is required.
Requirements
  • EPA and CPO certifications are required, with Universal EPA preferred and Type 2 minimum required.
  • A minimum of three years of multi-family maintenance experience is required.
  • A minimum of one year in a Lead Maintenance or Maintenance Supervisor role is preferred.
  • High school graduate or GED is required.
  • Basic communication in English is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
