Senior Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu.
This is an incredible opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our valued patients in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional and personalized care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
With flexibility in creating your own schedule, you can align it with your needs and preferences. You will conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the individual needs of patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis.
Working closely with physicians, you will develop and modify personalized treatment plans based on patient progress. You will contribute to the development and implementation of interdisciplinary patient care plans specifically tailored to Physical Therapy.
You will administer diagnostic and prognostic tests to evaluate patients' muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities. Through a diverse range of physical therapy techniques, such as exercise, massage, heat, water, light, and electricity, you will effectively alleviate pain, enhance function, and optimize performance.
In this role, you will also educate and guide both patients and their families in the physical therapy program. You will provide necessary equipment to support the treatment plan and coordinate outpatient services for procedures that cannot be administered at home.
Evaluations, treatments, and patients' therapy intervention responses must be accurately and timely recorded. Additionally, you will provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and paraprofessionals, strictly adhering to agency policies.
The requirements for this position include being a graduate of a Physical Therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Hawaii is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of one year of institutional/home health experience. A complete criminal background check and current CPR certification are essential.
We offer a competitive compensation ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 per year, accompanied by a flexible schedule. This remarkable opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while working in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
