About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. This per diem/visit position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • Develop and implement interdisciplinary patient care plans tailored specifically to physical therapy.
  • Administer diagnostic and prognostic tests to evaluate patients' muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
  • Effectively alleviate pain, enhance function, and optimize performance using various physical therapy techniques.
  • Educate and guide patients and their families in physical therapy programs.
  • Coordinate outpatient services for procedures that cannot be conducted at home.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, treatments, and patients' therapy intervention responses.
  • Provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and paraprofessionals.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Physical Therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Hawaii.
  • Minimum of one year of institutional/home health experience is preferred.
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check.
  • Must possess a current CPR certification.
