Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Construction Manager to oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support multiple project managers and projects efficiently
  • Procure, coordinate, and manage subcontractors & suppliers
  • Assist with creation and management of budgets
  • Monitor material lead times & delivery dates
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule utilizing Microsoft Project
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, superintendents, and other team members
  • Attend progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Procure, assemble, and distribute project close-out documents
  • Review, log, and monitor submittals and shop drawings
  • Prepare, log, and monitor requests for information (RFIs)
  • Prepare, log, and monitor proposed change orders and change orders
  • Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships
  • Support and assist the PM to estimate projects and prepare bid proposals based on company strategic business development
  • Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to pass background check

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
