Job Description for Mechanical Engineering – Static Engineering Expertise:


We require candidates with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Basic and Detailed Engineering within Thermal Power Plants, Combined Cycle, and Supercritical Power Plants, particularly with a strong background in Main Plant accessories.


Candidates should possess the ability to comprehend ITO inputs (Inquiry to Order) and Technical Proposals.


Extensive experience in P&ID preparation and review, along with associated Device summary settings for Gas Turbine Systems (Intake, Exhaust, Enclosure & Ventilation) is essential.


Proficiency in P&ID and Device Summary (Instrumentation) Creation and Modification using AVEVA DIAGRAM and AVEVA Engineering Tool, with AutoCAD experience being an added advantage.


Experience in creating Plant layout drawings, including General Arrangement Drawings, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, and Technical Bid Evaluations, as well as commissioning spare parts lists is required.


Strong knowledge in Piping, Tubing, and all related fittings and valves, along with Plant layout drawings (GA, Plot Plan) is necessary.


Experience in preparing Built Spec and Built Print drawings & BOM in alignment with P&ID Schematics is expected.


Candidates should have experience in drafting Ordering Specifications/Functional Specifications and Modification Kits.


Demonstrated expertise in preparing FMI (Field Modification Instruction manual) is crucial.


Proven ownership and decision-making capabilities in design, considering cost-effectiveness and feasibility in manufacturing and fabrication are essential.


Experience serving as the primary interface with clients, demonstrating the implementation of design requirements, design changes, analysis, and verification of tasks is required.


Effective planning, execution, and timely delivery of tasks with a focus on cost efficiency and quality are vital.


Excellent coordination skills with all Cross-Functional Teams, including Customers (Tech Leads, Chief Engineers), Suppliers, Configuration Team, Electrical Team, etc., are essential.


Engineers should exhibit confidence and autonomy in delivering work packages, which is critical for success.


Qualifications:
BE in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering experience from Thermal/Aero/Simple/Combined Cycle Power Plants.
