Responsibilities:- Analyze and document patient responses to interventions, evaluating measurable progress toward goals and revising the plan of care as needed.
- Establish and document teaching plans for patients and families, communicating effectively with patients, families, supervisors, peers, and other healthcare team members.
- Contribute to the achievement of established goals and objectives, adhering to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.
- Implement effective physical therapy treatment plans in conjunction with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, modifying treatment plans as needed.
- Perform procedures and modalities, including therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, gait training, heat/cold application, and ultrasound.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Physical Therapist License to practice Physical Therapy in Maryland.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
- Good clinical skills, organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of home equipment, home care reimbursement, and regulations governing PTAs.
