Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Primary Care team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our health care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to clinicians and other health care team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to clinicians and other health care team members, including preparing patients for office visits and performing focused/limited nursing assessments.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and modification of individualized patient plans of care under the direction of a clinician.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, therapies, and procedures within the scope of practice, maintaining proficiency and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with population-based care outreach activities, including health maintenance screening as directed by a clinician.
  • Participate in team-based care, demonstrating flexibility and ability to reprioritize workflow to handle urgent/emergent demands of the team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Practical Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire or Compact License: Practical Nurse within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2+) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • IV therapy experience or recent certification.
  • Familiarity with documenting in an electronic medical record system.
