Nurse - Acute Care Specialist

Education:
As a registered nurse at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will be required to have graduated from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also mandatory.

Additional Requirements based upon department:
Acute Care:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within two years of hire, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSN) certifications preferred. You will also need to hold a current applicable OR RN license.
Experience:
While six months of nursing experience or successful completion of a nursing internship program is preferred, additional clinical experience requirements may vary depending on the specific department in which the position is utilized.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
You will require critical thinking skills and decisive judgment, as well as the ability to work independently. You must be able to function effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Additionally, you will need to possess experience with everyday technology tools, such as email, Microsoft Office, voicemail, and the internet/intranet to access, organize, and store job-related information.
