Are you a seasoned construction professional looking for a new challenge?

Russell Tobin, a leading general contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in ground-up mixed-commercial projects with a budget of $10M+.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working for a general contractor on projects of this scale, with a proven track record of success.

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent with project responsibilities, including knowledge of plans and specs, drafting RFIs, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

You will also be expected to assist with project start-up and mobilization, scheduling, and organizing and directing subcontractors.

Additionally, you will be responsible for quality control, organizing files and plans, and overseeing punch list completion.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year, plus benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with 7% employer matching contributions.

We also offer paid time off, 15 days of PTO, and 10 paid holidays per year.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial construction working for a general contractor on ground-up mixed-commercial projects $10M+
  • Strong knowledge of plans and specs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
