Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at Asian American Health Coalition. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents, from routine check-ups to complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate referrals as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric medicine.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved residency program in pediatrics.
  • Current and unrestricted Texas Medical license.
  • Board certification in pediatrics or board eligibility with the intent to certify within two years of beginning employment.
  • Previous experience in pediatric medicine and/or community health is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in languages spoken by Asian American communities.
  • Experience working in a community health setting or with underserved populations.
