About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a LPN, you will provide top-notch nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and be able to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams. You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Conduct assessments and administer medications/treatments as ordered.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with current LPN licensure.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
