We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As an LPN in Long Term Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents of all ages.

About the Role

The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to deliver professional nursing care to residents. This includes conducting resident assessments, administering medications and treatments as ordered, and documenting care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Contribute to resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Document resident interactions and care outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program
  • An active LPN license with the State Nursing board
  • At least 400 hours of experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary care team environment
