Job Summary

As a Desktop Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring desktop applications and peripherals on user machines. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to patches, features, deployment, and permissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure desktop applications and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patches, features, deployment, and permissions
  • Assist in data migration and identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain the accuracy of deployed machines
  • Image and reimage new and existing desktops, laptops, etc.
  • Use Active Directory to supervise records, profiles, and approaches
  • Assist with sending workstations and PCs
  • Create design settings on Windows workstations
  • Oversee information and adjust system profiles
  • Investigate technical issues and provide technical assistance
  • Communicate with end clients
  • Ensure computers and peripherals are secure and users have the correct software
  • Manage image files and inventories
  • Hands-on experience with imaging, deploying machines, and troubleshooting
  • Fault finding and problem solving skills in a network environment
  • Well-versed with building and setting up desktop computer systems
  • Conduct recovery and preventive maintenance procedures
  • Run diagnostic or repair routines and provide technical assistance
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Applications

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Physical role that requires unencumbered mobility throughout the facility
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Travel required to other locations
  • Overtime is required
