About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Program Coordinator Lead to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our orthopedic department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring seamless patient care, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead regular meetings with management staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on program goals and objectives.">
  • Develop and implement standardized care plans in collaboration with surgeons, including pre-op, post-op, and discharge orders.">
  • Coordinate pre-op preparation, develop teaching classes, and oversee measurement systems to track surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.">
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions and drive process improvements.">
  • Collaborate with nursing education teams to develop handouts and online education materials.">
  • Foster strong relationships with community organizations and present educational seminars to promote awareness and support.">
  • Maintain accurate records, compile data, and identify areas for improvement.">
  • Demonstrate expertise in patient navigation, quality improvement, and process management.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in orthopedics or related field, preferably with leadership roles.">
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin, or eligibility for licensure.">
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.">
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and analytical abilities.">
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.">
