Project Manager for Restoration and Construction

Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee both residential and commercial restoration and construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project management specifically within the construction sector, with an emphasis on restoration and waterproofing. This role demands outstanding leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to fulfill project specifications.
    • Oversee all construction processes from inception to completion.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and direct project teams, including subcontractors and on-site staff.
    • Ensure alignment of all team members with project objectives and schedules.
    • Provide mentorship and support to team members to foster a productive and positive workplace.
  • Financial Oversight and Resource Management:
    • Track project budgets and ensure expenses remain within established limits.
    • Source necessary materials and equipment promptly.
    • Enhance resource allocation to boost project efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
    • Conduct regular site evaluations to assess progress and quality.
    • Address any challenges swiftly to maintain project integrity.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide consistent updates to clients regarding project status, timelines, and any modifications.
    • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Risk Assessment and Management:
    • Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
    • Proactively address any obstacles that may arise during the project.
    • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
