SUMMARY:

In this role, you will oversee a team of engineers, manage production strategies, and explore innovative methodologies and products for future initiatives.

The Engineering Manager is accountable for recruiting and guiding personnel, as well as managing financial resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop project strategies that align with organizational objectives for new innovations or designs.
  • Present and clarify budgetary and project plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial estimates, proposals, and contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with production and external management to establish product specifications.
  • Lead the engineering team, ensuring effective direction, coordination, and assessment of this unit.
  • Direct the engineering group’s activities, including their collaboration with maintenance functions.
  • Engage in comprehensive planning across the site, including capital management and inventory oversight.
  • Support corporate and local initiatives.
  • Oversee departmental training and development; facilitate special projects.
  • Work with finance to quantify, assess, and report cost efficiencies; ensure projects adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Act as a liaison for inter-company and intra-company initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate departmental and organizational goals, achievements, challenges, solutions, practices, changes, and policies. Foster positive communication and enforce company policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred (engineering background highly desired).

6+ years of relevant experience.

Experience in managing technical industrial expansions is advantageous.

Familiarity with titanium processes is beneficial.

Ability to manage in a continuous manufacturing environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Statistical knowledge is highly desirable.

ISO9000 experience is beneficial.

Proficient in personal computer applications.
