Job Summary

As a Seafood Associate at The GIANT Company, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality seafood products are available to our customers. Your responsibilities will include receiving deliveries, breaking down loads, and rotating the cooler. You will also be responsible for weighing, pricing, and labeling products, as well as stocking cases and selecting products for display. Additionally, you will prepare valued-added products, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating the cooler
* Weigh, price, and label products for sale
* Stock cases and select products for display
* Prepare valued-added products, such as seafood salads and dips
* Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making product recommendations
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards

Requirements

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
* Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards

Working Conditions

* Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
* Job cycles: continual maximum
* Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
* Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
* Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
* Max pull static: 20 lbs.
