Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team as an IT Consultant for geospatial solutions. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining interactive web and web-based mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality geospatial solutions using modern technologies.
  • Analyze functional requirements and recommend adoption of new technologies, products, and services.
  • Lead software architecture design and roadmap planning to modernize monolithic applications into sustainable modern solutions.
  • Provide pragmatic consulting to clients and internal project teams.
  • Collaborate with project team members on requirement definition, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sizing/estimation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years professional experience in application design, development, and operations.
  • 3+ years of IT consulting/professional services experience, preferably working with public sector clients.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering software in a fast-paced agile environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
