Music Therapist

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans to support consumer progress and skill development.
- Utilize a range of music therapy techniques, including singing, listening, instrumental music composition, creative movement, and guided imagery, to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and services for individuals.
- Provide written documentation of services and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy or completion of an approved Music Therapy Equivalency Program.
- Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
- 6 months of experience working in the area of Music Therapy.
- Training Requirements During Employment: Complete all assigned training, including the successful completion of the IFSSA/DDARS waiver training module.
- Specific Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have CPR and First Aid certifications, and be free from communicable diseases.
- Full, part-time, and as-needed schedules available.
