Job Title: Criminal Intelligence Analyst

Cobb County, GA is seeking a skilled Criminal Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing complex administrative and investigative support in the daily operation of an assigned unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze crime reports data, arrest data, and other crime-related data to forecast crime patterns.
  • Conduct routine analysis of crime patterns, series, and trends using chronological and geographic measures and statistical methods.
  • Input, access, and query data in various County, state, and federal computer systems, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), and Police Record Systems.
  • Provide crime analysis data and act as a liaison to department personnel and other agencies.
  • Research, compile, and report information in support of traffic control and criminal investigations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or Data Analysis, or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible and knowledgeable support work experience in a criminal justice or law enforcement agency.
  • NCIC/GCIC certification within six months of assignment.
Working Conditions:

This is an evening shift position working 4 pm to 10 pm. The selected candidate must be available and willing to work this schedule as needed.
