Sterile Processing Equipment Specialist

Crothall Healthcare, a leading provider of specialized support services to the healthcare industry, is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Equipment Specialist.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the processing of medical equipment.
Responsibilities:- Decontaminate and sterilize reusable patient care equipment and medical supplies using state-of-the-art technology and techniques.
- Operate complex sterilizing equipment, including steam and gas sterilizers, with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment processing, storage, and distribution, ensuring seamless logistics and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and optimize processing workflows.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in sterile processing.
- Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification required.
- Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification required.
- Associate's degree in a related healthcare field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, with a minimum of 50 pounds lifting capacity.
- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
