GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The Store Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in the leadership team, overseeing a designated area within the store while also managing overall store operations during their shift. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming shopping atmosphere and efficient store functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safety and Security:
    Prioritizes safety by maintaining awareness of the sales floor and addressing any unsafe conditions. Responsible for the security of the store, including monitoring entry and exit points and ensuring proper functioning of security systems.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Fosters a respectful and professional environment for customers and associates alike. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and recognizes team members through company programs.
  • Brand Representation:
    Upholds the company’s brand image by maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring all associates adhere to dress standards. Keeps the store clean and organized to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Merchandising and Stock Management:
    Ensures that merchandise is presented according to company standards, including recovery and markdown processes. Responsible for receiving and processing merchandise deliveries efficiently.
  • Loss Prevention:
    Adheres to loss prevention protocols, maintaining a strong presence on the sales floor to deter theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Front-End Operations:
    Oversees front-end activities, ensuring associates are trained in cash handling and customer service best practices. Manages customer flow to minimize wait times.
  • Fitting Room Management:
    Ensures the cleanliness and organization of fitting rooms, auditing garment tags as per company policy.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Handles various administrative tasks as assigned, including cash management and payroll administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and supervisory roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail operations and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying items as needed. Some roles may require additional physical capabilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overseeing retail associates and stockroom leads as applicable.
