Key Responsibilities:
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and maintain fire alarm and security systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and codes.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex fire alarm and security system issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of system functionality and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of system installations, repairs, and maintenance, using industry-standard documentation tools.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and codes, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification, and 2 years of experience in the fire life safety industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fire alarm and security system programming, troubleshooting, and repair, as well as experience with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
