CNC Machinist Specialist

Job Summary:

Talento Search Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a direct-hire position. This role involves working on the 1st shift in a manufacturing environment, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $24-$31, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and set up CNC equipment for production operations
• Repair and maintain tools, fixtures, and dies
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• Execute changeovers on equipment
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns
• Operate horizontal mills, lathes, and vertical mills
• Read and edit programming

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of recent machining experience
• Ability to create parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes
• Strong experience with setting up and operating CNC machines for production
• Experience with Mori Seiki 4-axis horizontal machining center is beneficial
• Experience with Fanuc Controls, Mazak Lathe with Mazatrol Controls, and Vertical Milling is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scales
• Ability to perform shop math and read schematics
• Ability to rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead cranes
