CNC Machinist

Talento Search Group has an opening for a skilled CNC Machinist in Muscatine, Iowa on the 1st shift. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is from $24-$31 per hour, depending on experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fixturing and Setup of CNC equipment for production operations
• Repair tools, fixtures, and dies
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• Perform changeovers on equipment
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns
• Perform work on horizontal mills, lathes and vertical mills
• Read and perform edits on programming

Experience Needed:

• At least 3 years of recent machining experience
• Ability to make parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes
• Strong experience with setting up CNC machines and operating them for production
• Experience with Mori Seiki 4 axis horizontal machining center is beneficial
• Experience with Fanuc Controls, Mazak Lathe with Mazatrol Controls and Vertical Milling is preferred
• Must be able to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scales
• Ability to perform shop math and ability to read schematics
• Ability to rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead cranes
