We are seeking a skilled Lead Bartender to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily/Weekly Ordering: Ensure a productive service by ordering all necessary alcohol and maintaining bar inventory.
  • Training and Development: Create a comprehensive training guide for new bartenders and provide ongoing support to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Drink Menu Development: Collaborate with our team to create new and exciting drink lists and specials that showcase our expertise.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization behind the bar, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks, and provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience.
  • Accountability: Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages, input orders into a register at the point of sale, and maintain accountability of all beverages served.
  • Financial Management: Receive cash from guests, make change as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Lock and store all beverage, food, and other equipment items, deposit cash drops, and secure bank.
  • Availability: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • HEI Operating and Safety Standards: Must abide by all HEI operating and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of bar experience, knowledge of spirits and wine.
  • Craftsmanship: Ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks.
  • Hotel Experience: Hotel experience preferred.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
  • Manual Dexterity: Sufficient manual dexterity in hands to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
