Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Resource Float to provide quality patient and family centered care in various units at the Madras and Prineville campuses. As a member of our health care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients, families, and all others, while upholding the organization's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient's condition and needs using critical thinking and clinical judgment, setting outcomes and implementing appropriate nursing actions.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to meet the patient's/family's physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual needs.
  • Deliver patient care with proficiency in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with caregivers, medical staff, patients, and guests.
  • Support Lean principles of continuous improvement and participate in creating a healing environment that supports all aspects of the care environment and the wholeness of each individual, patient, and caregiver.
Requirements:
  • Current Oregon RN license.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification within 60 days of hire.
  • TNCC, PALS, NRP, Moderate Sedation within 6 months of hire.
  • Code Grey within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Department specific acute care certification (i.e. CEN, CCRN).
  • Previous critical care, step down unit, or Emergency Department experience.
Work Environment:

This position requires standing and walking, keyboard operation, use of clear and audible speaking voice, and the ability to hear normal speech level. The use and operation of a motor vehicle may be required for Home Health and Wound Caregivers.
