Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Behavioral Health team at OSF Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of advanced nursing/physician assistant functions, including assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Current licensure to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services in the state of Illinois.
- Board certification as a PMHNP or PA-C.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
