Construction Project Manager Lead

SUMMARY:
This is a pivotal role that oversees all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and be capable of guiding the project from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of architectural drawings to guarantee adherence to HANO program requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and project progress for all assigned projects.
- Administer construction contracts, verifying permit and license compliance.
- Maintain vigilance over construction schedules and costs to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Evaluate construction activities to confirm compliance with contract documents.
- Report code violations and safety concerns to D&M Director.
- Provide regular updates to the Director regarding project progress and any necessary contract modifications.
- Craft project-specific contractual language and negotiate revisions with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
- Assess contractor quality control programs.
- Take decisive action in response to delays, weather events, or emergencies at construction sites.
- Engage in discussions with supervisors, contractors, and design professionals to address work procedures, complaints, and construction issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field; graduate engineers or architects may be considered if they possess additional training in business administration and accounting.
A minimum of five years' experience in assisting or supervising complex construction projects is required.
This position involves regular driving for business purposes; a valid driver's license and ability to meet HANO's automobile insurance plan requirements are mandatory.
