Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the bus
  • Operate a manual transmission school bus in a safe manner
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Care for the assigned vehicle to ensure a clean and safe environment for all passengers
  • Develop positive relationships with schools and the Pupil Transportation Department

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL with proper endorsements
  • Good driving record
  • Knowledge of bus operation and governing laws
  • Ability to read and complete necessary forms
  • Effective communication skills
