About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Heartland Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families during a challenging time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with mobility and ambulation, including the safe use of walkers or wheelchairs
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, as well as assist with feeding patients when needed
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including light housekeeping tasks such as emptying trash and changing linens
  • Document patient care and progress, including visit itineraries and any changes in patient condition
  • Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities, as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
