Manufacturing Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with assembly and wafer production, including equipment operation, process control, and training.
  • Collect and analyze data to optimize process performance and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Run production lots in a qualitative manner, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Set up equipment and processes to run tool monitors and production, and troubleshoot non-standard events in the production line.
  • Manage improvement processes, review tool health and stability, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and lean principles.
  • Understand process specifications and use factory systems to make informed decisions on production operations.
  • Prepare and deliver shift reports to ensure seamless handovers.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to maximize knowledge and skills.
  • Support engineering development activities during tool time.
Requirements:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with complex and non-standard assignments.
  • Exercise judgment and initiative to resolve complex problems and develop recommendations.
  • Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift up to 25 pounds and spend most of the time on the floor working on tools, walking 3+ miles a day, and standing or sitting for 9+ hours per day.
  • Work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including a bunny suit, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
Work Schedule:
  • Twelve-hour shifts, rotating from three to four days a week.
