About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Professional to join our Enterprise Services Risk Office at Capital One. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that impact our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the eData risk team to develop and execute the Syndicat risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
  • Collaborate with the eData Risk team and the eData Product and Tech teams to identify and develop risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.
  • Develop and deliver senior-level risk management reporting and communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Process Management, Risk Management or a combination of both.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in process management or 5+ years of experience in risk management, specifically with data management at an enterprise level.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs, specifically in a Data Ecosystem.
  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, including familiarity with regulatory practices.
  • 1+ years of experience in process development, documentation, and improvement experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in controls development, controls management, and reporting activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand Industry Data Management or Data Risk/Security related certification including Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Risk & Information System Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (any discipline) (CIPP).
