We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technician Mammography Technologist to join our team at Nitelines USA, Inc. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, including X-rays and mammograms, for the inmate population at our institution.
Responsibilities- Perform routine radiologic procedures, including X-rays and mammograms, as ordered by the medical staff.
- Transmit, retrieve, and scan X-ray images and reports electronically.
- Receive training to retrieve radiographic consults and schedule exams.
- Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs.
- Work with an inmate population from diverse cultural, racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Independently assess and select technical exposure factors and positions for diagnostic exams.
- Notify Radiologist or referring Physician of preliminary abnormalities.
- Coordinate transfer of patient radiologic records.
- Act as liaison between radiologist and medical staff.
- Develop a working knowledge of local medical protocols.
- Wear protective clothing and follow universal precautions.
- US CITIZEN
- (ARRT) Fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist by the state of California.
- Diagnostic radiology and mammographic radiologic technician credentials within the license.
- At least one year of experience.
- Able to pass a background clearance.
- Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Evidentiary documentation of graduation from an accredited school of radiology technology.
