Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at McElroy Smiles by Design of Encinitas. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of oral health for our patients.

• Provide thorough and gentle dental cleanings to patients of all ages.
• Identify and treat conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.
• Apply fluoride treatments and place sealants to protect patients' teeth.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and demonstrate good brushing habits.
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for gum disease.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charts for each patient.

• 3+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and friendly personality with a focus on patient satisfaction.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Laser certification and Dentrix dental program experience a plus.
