Responsibilities:

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during their visit.
• Sterilize dental instruments properly.
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis.
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth. (e.g. remove plaque, apply fluoride and place sealants)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene care by demonstrating good brushing techniques.
• Take x-rays, 3D-scans and dental impressions.
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for gum disease.
• Maintain clinical documentation and charts on each patient.
• Patient and hygiene department stats.
• Participate in team trainings.

Skills:

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Positive and friendly personality - drama free
• Attention to detail.
• Time oriented to maintain patient schedule.
• Dentrix dental program is a plus.
• Laser certification is a must.
• Valid license to practice.

Salary: From $55.00 per hour.
