Medical Office Nurse RN

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a nursing position in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will provide patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Department of Nursing.
About the JobThe primary role of this position is to utilize clinical skills to integrate and implement the nursing process with the plan of care. This involves assessing patients accurately and timely, developing and implementing plans of care that reflect the needs and goals of the patient, and providing nursing care that is evaluated and modified as needed.
Responsibilities- Nursing assessment is completed accurately and timely in accordance with practice standards
- A plan of care is developed and implemented that reflects the needs and goals of the patient
- Nursing care is provided, evaluated, and modified to achieve goals and objectives
- Patient care documentation is completed per established standards
- Medications are administered safely and according to professional standards of practice and nursing policies and procedures
- Nursing care activities are coordinated in collaboration with other care team members to facilitate achievement of patient goals
The ideal candidate will possess a baccalaureate degree in Nursing and be currently licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse. Additional requirements include effective verbal, electronic, and written communications skills using the English language, computer proficiency, and Microsoft office applications. Travel, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends may be required.
