Electronics Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will oversee assigned personnel in all production activities, providing leadership, guidance, and task assignments while supporting EHS initiatives to meet production demands and uphold top-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate a work schedule for a 24/5 operation, ensuring optimal manpower utilization to meet daily production goals.
- Equipment Management: Identify and relay equipment and material requirements to management, engineering, and maintenance to address any constraints or issues.
- Decision-Making: Operate with minimal supervision, making independent decisions in line with established procedures, and understand MOC, ECN, and SETCO requirements.
- Team Development: Foster individual team member development and monitor performance in accordance with HR policies, training, and certifying them in their job tasks.
- Production Meetings: Participate in daily Production Scheduling meetings to keep the production team updated on schedule changes and operational needs.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure compliance with GMP among direct reports, maintaining accurate documentation and upholding high-quality standards through established policies.
- Work Environment: Promote a positive work environment that emphasizes safety and quality.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with all levels of the organization.
- Training Compliance: Ensure the team meets required training modules (CBTs, monthly safety meetings, etc.) and enhance team dynamics through regular meetings and one-on-one communication.
- Operational Oversight: The supervisor is responsible for driving operations by overseeing production, ensuring accountability, and addressing any gaps to support daily activities.
- Education & Experience: Associate degree (or equivalent) and 8 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role leading a multishift operation.
- Skills: Strong conflict resolution abilities and knowledge of root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, fishbone). Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar ERP systems), and familiar with barcode scanning systems.
- Language & Adaptability: Must read, write, and speak English; capable of multitasking and demonstrating flexibility.
- Knowledge: Understanding of Total Cycle Time metrics, Direct Labor metrics, and Safe Working Methodologies. Lean and 6 Sigma training preferred.
- Physical & Safety Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and must pass a post-offer drug screening, maintaining a constant state of alertness.
