Job Summary

This role performs chairside work assisting in the treatment of patients, maintains records of treatments, supplies, and materials, and performs related work as required. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and following procedures required of a Dental Assistant, including sterilizing instruments and equipment, maintaining infection control procedures, and preparing patients for treatment.

You will also be responsible for reviewing patient charts, ensuring all paperwork, x-rays, and treatment are current, and accurately inputting patient information into electronic dental records. Additional tasks may include performing routine laboratory work, preparing operatories for dental procedures, and assisting chairside by handing instruments and supplies to dentists and hygienists.

As a member of our team, you will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, assuming additional responsibilities as needed, and showing dedication to your role and the community we serve. You will adhere to Aviva Health's policies and procedures, strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.
